Chelsea take on Bolton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night in the third round of the Capital One Cup. Here is our predicted starting eleven.

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech is expected to be restored to the Chelsea line-up for the first time this season after losing his place to Thibaut Courtois with Mourinho almost certain to rest his new No.1.

Defence: The Portuguese coach should also take the opportunity to rest a couple of key defenders with John Terry and Cesar Azpiliceuta the two most likely to get a breather. Filipe Luis should come in at left-back while young central defender Kurt Zouma could make his first start of the season.

Midfield: Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas are expected to be rested with John Obi Mikel possibly being joined by highly-rated youngster Nathan Ake in midfield with Ramires out due to a abductor injury picked up during Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Man City.

Attack: Oscar didn’t feature at the Etihad so is likely to come back in to join Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah in attack. Diego Costa is certain to be rested due to his niggling hamstring issues so Mourinho could hand Loic Remy his first start following his move from QPR, although Didier Drogba is also pushing for a return.

Here is how Chelsea could line-up:

What do you make of the team? What side would you select for the game?
