[Video Goals] Arsenal 2-0 Everton: Giroud Among The Goals As Gunners Go Third

By on March 1, 2015

Arsenal moved back up to third place in the Premier League table after a 2-0 win over Everton at the Emirates this afternoon.

After a sluggish start the Gunners opened the scoring just before half time when Olivier Giroud volleyed home Mesut Ozil’s corner with a neat right-footed finish for 1-0 in the 37th minute.

The visitors saw plenty of the ball in the second half but we held firm and eventually found the second goal as Ozil found Tomas Rosicky on the edge of the area and his shot found it’s way past Tim Howard via a Phil Jagielka deflection.

The victory sees us leapfrog Manchester United back into third spot in the table after 27 games played.
