[Photos] Chelsea Players Celebrate In Changing Room After Cup Final Win Over Spurs

By on March 1, 2015

Chelsea won the first piece of silverware of the 2014/15 season after beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the Capital One Cup final at Wembley this afternoon.

The Blues opened the scoring when John Terry was on hand to fire home a loose ball from close range following a free-kick on the stroke of half-time before Diego Costa’s effort was deflected past Hugo Lloris via the boot of Kyle Walker in the 56th minute to make it 2-0.

Spurs pushed during the closing stages but couldn’t find a way back into the game and Chelsea held on to lift the Capital One Cup for the first time since 2006/07.

As seems to be the way these days, several of the players have taken to social media sites to share photos of the Blues celebrating in the changing after the game.

Cesc Fabregas, Petr Cech, Gary Cahill, Filipe Luis and Ramires are among the players who’ve posted photos on Twitter and Instagram as the West Londoners enjoy the first piece of silverware of the season.
