FA Cup Semi Final Draw: Arsenal & Liverpool Avoid Each Other

By on March 9, 2015

Arsenal and Liverpool are on course to meet in the final of the FA Cup after being kept apart in tonight’s semi final draw.

Having already beaten AFC Wilmbledon, Bolton and Crystal Palace in previous rounds, Liverpool will need to beat Blackburn in a replay after being held to a 0-0 draw at Anfield on Sunday.

If Brendan Rodgers men can come away victorious at Ewood Park then they’ll book a date against Aston Villa at Wembley in the semi finals after they made it through to the last four with a 2-0 win over West Brom on Saturday.

Arsenal booked their place in the semi finals with a 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford this evening and Arsene Wenger’s men will now face either Bradford and Reading after they played out an uninspiring 0-0 draw on Saturday afternoon.

The semi final ties will be played on the weekend of April 18 and 19.
