[Video Goals] Arsenal 3-0 West Ham: Ramsey On Target As Gunners Close On Top Two

By on March 14, 2015

Arsenal eased to their eighth consecutive Premier League win at the Emirates with a 3-0 victory over West Ham this afternoon.

We spurned some great chances in the first half but eventually broke the deadlock when Olivier Giroud finished off a lovely move involving Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey to curl home a wonderful left-footed strike just before the break.

West Ham pushed for an equaliser in the second half but we doubled our advantage in the 80th minute when Ramsey and Giroud combined again before the midfielder fired home for 2-0.

We put a gloss on the scoreline just a few minutes later when substitute Santi Cazorla teed-up Mathieu Flamini at the far post for a simple tap in to make it 3-0.

The win extends our lead over Manchester United to four points ahead of their game with Spurs tomorrow while we’re also now just one point behind second-placed Man City.
