Steven Gerrard was joined by team-mates both past and present as they celebrated in Liverpool after the All-Stars charity match at Anfield on Sunday.
Gerrard scored two penalties as his All-Star XI came from behind to draw 2-2 against Jamie Carragher’s All-Star side in front of a sell-out crowd at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
A host of star names attended the event with the likes of Thierry Henry, John Terry and Didier Drogba joining former Liverpool stars like Xabi Alonso, Dirk Kuyt, Pepe Reina, Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres in putting on a hugely entertaining game.
The match was organised in aid of Liverpool’s charity The Liverpool Foundation while some of the proceeds also went towards Alder Hey Childrens Hospital.
After the game, some of the players hit the town to celebrate and Gerrard has uploaded photos of him with Reina, Kuyt and Philippe Coutinho to Instagram while Jose Enrique also shared snaps from the evening’s festivities on Twitter.
