Carling Cup : Arsenal vs Wigan: RVP To Start For Gunners

Well this years Carling Cup is something which is really proving to be surprising for us Gooners. Mainly due to the fact that the boss has started fielding comparatively stronger sides than before…and, hmmmm, I guess that’s about it.

Regarding injuries : There are no new injuries to be added to the already crowed casualty list !!!

Predicted Line-up:

The dutch-man need some game-time and so I recommend he start up front with Theo and Vela. Both of whom require some confidence, although the former would need it more as he plays more than the latter. Luke needs a rest, and Szczesny should get a chance. Denilson, Song and Jack* should all play, giving Rosicky, Arshavin and Nasri some well deserved rest after the game at Villa Park.

* he should play as the guy is 18, and can develop further, subject to not getting tired very easily.

No predictions from my side, as every time I do that, we **** up !

Squillaci is injured and Eboue will play.

Also, as Almunia has now recovered – I’d expect him to be given the bench-warming job.

You really must try harder if you’re going to write a proper blog.

What wrong information? Its a predicted team!

I doubt Eboue will start, but id like RVP to get a game. Needs to find his feet.

wenger has finally realised (like man utd did a few years back) that winning the carling cup is better than nothing.Could be a big score tonight if he plays vela with RVP as they have a similar touch around the box….5-1…we WILL concede!!!!
