[Tweets & Photos] Man Utd Players Celebrate Online After Beating Aston Villa
Several Manchester United players have been celebrating on Twitter and Instagram after the Red Devils beat Aston Villa 3-1 at Old Trafford this afternoon.
Wayne Rooney scored a stunner as Manchester United beat Aston Villa 3-1 at Old Trafford this afternoon to move up to third in the Premier League table.
United opened the scoring just before half time when Ander Herrera found the bottom corner before Rooney doubled the advantage in spectacular fashion as he smashed home into the top corner on the half-turn.
Villa pulled one back through Christian Benteke but United wrapped up the three points when Herrard slotted home his second of the game in injury time.
The win sees United climb above Manchester City into third place in the table and put them well on course to qualifying for the Champions League next season.
After the game, some of the players have take to social networking sites to have their say with Marcos Rojo uploading of photo of him celebrating with Argentinean team-mate Angel Di Maria after the game.
Juan Mata, Ashley Young and Victor Valdes have also been on Twitter this evening to express their delight at picking up another vital three points and the trio also congratulated Herrara on his match-winning brace, while the man himself also posted a celebratory message on Twitter along with Marouane Fellaini and David De Gea.
