[Video Highlights] Reading 1-2 Arsenal: Federici Gaff Sends Gunners To Final

Arsenal booked their place in the final of the FA Cup with a rather fortunate 2-1 victory over a spirited Reading side at Wembley this evening.

Reading were well organised during the opening stages but we finally broke the deadlock when Mesut Ozil found Alexis Sanchez with a superb pass and the Chilean international slotted through Adam Federici’s legs for 1-0 just before half-time.

The Championship outfit got themselves level shortly after the break when Wojciech Szczesny couldn’t keep out Gartath McCleary’s far post effort following some poor defending from Arsene Wenger’s side.

The game was taken to extra-time and we were gifted our place in the final after Federici spilled Sanchez’s effort into the net for 2-1 in the 105th minute.

We’ll now await the victors of tomorrow’s other semi-final between Aston Villa and Liverpool.
