Liverpool will be looking to close in on the top four when they take on West Brom at the Hawthorns this afternoon. 

Brendan Rodgers is once again without Daniel Sturridge so Mario Balotelli is handed a rare start up front after impressing off the bench during last week’s FA Cup defeat to Aston Villa.

Glen Johnson also starts while Jordon Ibe comes comes back in after being cup-tied last weekend.

Joe Allen drops to the bench with Steven Gerrard making his 500th Premier League appearance alongside Jordan Henderson in midfield.
