Eden Hazard scored the winner as Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Stamford Bridge to seal the Premier League title this afternoon.

Palace were proving to be a difficult side to break down but the Blues finally found the breakthrough they were looking for on the stroke of half-time.

The host were gifted the perfect opportunity to open the scoring when Hazard was brought down in the area and although the Belgian saw his spot kick easily saved, he headed home the rebound to make it 1-0 at the break.

Chelsea dominated the second half and although they failed to get the second goal they wanted to make the game safe, they were able to hold to to their 1-0 lead and secure the three points.

The win sees Chelsea go 16 points clear at the top of the table which means they are crowned Premier League champions with three games to spare.
