[Video Goals] Hull 1-3 Arsenal: Sanchez & Ramsey On Target As Gunners Down Tigers

By on May 4, 2015

Arsenal gave their hopes of finishing second a major boost with an impressive 3-1 victory over Hull City at the KC Stadium tonight.

Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring midway through the first half as his free-kick deflected past Steve Harper in the Hull goal for 1-0.

Santi Cazorla then found Aaron Ramsey with a stunning long-ball before the Welshman fired home the second in the 33rd minute.

The Gunners were in total control of the game when Ramsey released Sanchez in the 45th minute and the Chilean rounded Harper before stroking the ball home into the empty net for 3-0.

Hull found a foothold in the game as Stephen Quinn headed home in the 56th minute to make it 3-1 but it turned out to be nothing more than a consolation as we held out to secure the win.

The victory sees us move five points clear of fourth-placed Manchester United while we’re also level on points with Manchester City with a game in hand.
