By on May 9, 2015

Manchester United could confirm their top four finish this weekend with a victory at Crystal Palace this evening, matched by Chelsea beating Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Louis van Gaal is without Robin van Persie this evening, with Wayne Rooney starting as the sole striker in the Dutch international’s place.  Both Radamel Falcao and James Wilson are amongst the substitutes.

There is no Ángel Di María in the squad.  Ashley Young keeps his place on the left wing, with Juan Mata on the right.

Phil Jones is back alongside Chris Smalling in the centre of United’s defence following a three-game absence.  Luke Shaw starts at left-back.

Crystal Palace have Pape Souaré starting at left-back to attempt to deal with Juan Mata, whilst Mile Jedinak returns to sit in front of the back four as he does so well.

The home side have pace down both wings, including former United signing Wilfried Zaha, now back with the Eagles.
