[Video] Daniel Sturridge Offers Injury Update With ‘Rap’ Video On Instagram
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has offered an update on his recovery from hip surgery with a bizarre rap video which he posted to Instagram this afternoon.
Sturridge has endured a hugely frustrating campaign that’s been blighted by a series of injury problems which have restricted him to making just 19 appearances in all competitions.
After missing much of the campaign with thigh injuries, the 25-year-old suffered a hip injury last month and was forced to fly-out to the United States to undergo surgery at the start of May.
The England international is expected to be out until the end of August so he’s got a long summer of rehabilitation ahead to get himself in the best possible shape ahead of next season.
Sturridge has now taken to Instagram to upload a video of him working out on an exercise bike with a 2 Pace record playing in the background. He gives a shout-out to his fans before attempting to rap an update on his recovery, with the striker saying he’s improving everyday and hopes to come back stronger than ever.
