Premier League champions Chelsea came from a goal down to beat Sunderland 3-1 at Stamford Bridge this afternoon thanks to a double from Loic Remy.

The visitors took a shock lead midway through the first half when Steven Fletcher was on hand to head home at the far post for 0-1.

However, Chelsea levelled things up just before half-time when John O’Shea fouled Juan Cuadrado in the area and Diego Costa stepped-up to make it 1-1 from the spot.

The Blues then took the lead when substitute Remy fired home a low drive from just outside the area and the Frenchman then sealed the three points with a late third from close range.

The victory ensured Chelsea collected their Premier League trophy off the back of another win and Jose Mourinho’s side maintained their unbeaten home record for the entire season.
