Chelsea are the latest club to unveil their new kit for the upcoming season as the Premier League champions officially launched their 2015/16 home kit this afternoon.
The home kit has been launched as part of a campaign – “If it’s not blue, it will be” – which is reflected in the kit itself as the shirt and shorts are almost entirely plain blue with the socks white with blue stripped detailing around the top.
Red and white trims can be seen around the collar, sleeves and shorts while there are vertical pinstripes running down the shirt. The Yokohama logo is also visible across the front of the shirt after they took over as the clubs new shirt sponsor.
On the face of it, the kit looks pretty basic but it does in fact have a truly unique feature as each shirt includes a finger print woven onto each label.
Several of the first team players helped promote the new kit and you can see photos and a video below. Chelsea will wear the new kit for the first time during their pre-season tour of North America, starting with next weeks clash again New York Red Bulls.
