Arsenal have been drawn to face Roy Keane’s Ipswich in the Semi-final of the Carling Cup after the Championship side beat West Brom 1-0. The Gunners will play the second leg at the Emirates so it was pretty much the perfect draw for Arsene Wengers men.
The other semi see’s Manchester United’s conquerors West Ham face Birmingham City, who beat Aston Villa 2-1 tonight. Arsenal now have a great opportunity to end the much publicized 5-year trophy drought, it may not be the silverware the fans crave but a trophy is a trophy!
