[Video Goals] Man City 3-0 Chelsea: Aguero On Target As City Thrash Blues

Manchester City thrashed defending Premier League champions Chelsea 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium this afternoon.

City began the stronger of the two sides and after Asmir Begovic had denied Sergio Aguero twice, the Argentinean got his goal midway through the first half when he did well to find space before calmly slotting home for 1-0.

The Citizens doubled their lead in the 79th minute when Vincent Kopmany headed home a David Silva corner before Fernandinho wrapped things up late on with a drilled finish.

The result means Chelsea have taken just one point from their opening two fixtures while City now lead the table after consecutive 3-0 victories.
