[Video Highlights] Newcastle 0-1 Arsenal: Gunners Sink 10-Man Geordies

Arsenal beat Newcastle United 1-0 at St James’ Park on Saturday afternoon thanks to an own goal from Fabio Coloccini early in the second half.

Newcastle’s chances of winning their first game of the season were dashed in just the 16th minute when Aleksandar Mitrovic was shown a straight red for a foul on Santi Cazorla.

Arsenal dominated the game from then on but went in at half-time level at 0-0 after squandering several chances to open the scoring.

The break-through was eventually found after the break when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s shot found it’s way into the bottom corner via a deflection off Coloccini to make it 0-1.

We continued to waste chances to finish the game off but thankfully we weren’t made to pay as we ran out 1-0 victors to move on to 7 points from our opening 4 games.
