Chelsea attacker Willian scored twice to help Brazil to a 3-1 victory over Venezuela in their 2018 South American World Cup qualifier last night.

After losing their first game 2-0 to Chile last week, Willian gave the Brazilian’s the perfect start as he fired a powerful shot past goalkeeper Alain Baroja at the near post inside the opening minute of the game.

Former Blues defender Filipe Luis then set-up the second just before half-time as his cross found it’s way to Willian thanks to a clever dummy from Oscar before the Chelsea man cooly slotted home for 2-0.

Venezuela pulled one back in the 64th minute when Christian Santos bundled the ball home at the far post following a corner but Brazil wrapped up the three points when Ricardo Oliveira headed home in the 73rd minute to make it 3-1.

The Chelsea boys will now make the long journey back to London to begin preparations for Saturday’s clash with Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.
