Arsenal breathed new life in to their Champions League campaign with a stunning 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich at the Emirates on Tuesday night.
Bayern dominated possession but it was the Gunners who proved to be more clinical in front of goal as Olivier Giroud opened the scoring in the 77th minute before Mesut Ozil wrapped things up with a second in stoppage time.
The result means we are now sitting on three points in Group F and just three points off joint leaders Bayern Munich and Olympiakos with three games to play, so it’s still all to play for in the race for qualification to the knockout stages.
After the game, several players have taken to social media networks to celebrate what was a famous victory with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez both sharing photos on their Instagram pages.
Ozil also posted a message on his Twitter account and was joined by Aaron Ramsey, Petr Cech, Gabriel, Hector Bellerin, Pet Mertesacker and Calum Chambers in reacting to the win.
