[Video Goals] CSKA Moscow 1-1 Man Utd: Martial Rescues Point For United

Manchester United earned what could be a valuable point in Russia with Anthony Martial heading home a second half equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw with CSKA Moscow on Wednesday night.

The home side took an early lead when Martial gave away a penalty in the 13th minute after handling in the area.

Roman Eremenko stepped up but saw his penalty superbly saved by David De Gea as the Spaniard tipped his effort on to the post but Seydou Doumbia was on hand to slot home the rebound for 1-0.

United pushed for the equaliser and found a a way through when Martial made amends for his earlier mistake when he headed home Antonio Valencia’s cross in the 65th minute.

The result leaves United sitting second in Group B, level on points with CSKA, and two points adrift of leaders Wolfsburg after their 2-0 victory over PSV Eindhoven in tonight’s other game.
