[Video Highlights] Crystal Palace 0-0 Man Utd: Sloppy United Held

By on October 31, 2015

Manchester United lost ground at the top of the Premier League table after being held to a 0-0 draw by Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts could have opened the scoring in the opening minute but De Gea made a routine save to deny Gayle after an error from Darmian in the area.

Bolasie then went even closer to finding a way through when he crashed a fierce shot off the bar in the 10th minute before De Gea was called into action again as United held on during the opening stages.

Rooney then had United’s only shot on target throughout the entire ninety minutes when his free-kick was easily saved before the striker fluffed his lines when put clean through by Martial minutes later.

Things didn’t get much better for United after the break and Palace should have taken the lead but Cabaye missed a great chance to grab a winner in the 70th minute.

Palace came closest to finding a late goal during the closing stages but United held to secure a point, but the draw leaves them four points adrift of joint leaders Man City and Arsenal after they both won this afternoon.
