Arsenal drew 1-1 with Tottenham at the Emirates this afternoon with Kieran Gibbs cancelling out Harry Kane’s first half strike.

Here are Gooner Mac’s ratings for Arsene Wenger’s men:

Cech  7.5/10 | Kept us in the game at 1-0 with a fine save but got away with wandering out his area in the second half.

Debuchy  6.5/10 | Much better than he was against Bayern Munich. Put in a solid display.

Mertesacker  6/10 | Was exposed a couple of times but defended well on the whole.

Koscielny  5.5/10 | At fault for the Kane goal as he tried to play him offside. Otherwise was solid enough.

Monreal  6.5/10 | Decent display again from the Spaniard. Read the game well and made some important interceptions.

Coquelin  7/10 | Quiet in the first half but was excellent after the break with Flamini alongside him.

Cazorla  4/10 | Well off the pace and subbed at half time. Arsene revealed after the game that Santi was unwell and complaining of being dizzy.

Campbell  6/10 | Worked hard but lacked that little bit of quality.

Ozil  7.5/10 | Another assist for the German playmaker as he set-up Gibbs’s goal. Could have had more had Giroud’s finishing been on point.

Alexis  6/10 | Clearly knackered. Had brief moments but not a lot came off for him.

Giroud  5/10 | Missed a hat full of chances. One of his off days unfortunately.

Subs:

Flamini 6/10 | Added some balance to the midfield in the second half.

Gibbs 7/10 | Took his goal well and was a threat down the left when he came on.

Arteta N/A

We were well below our best in the first half but improved late on and we could even have won it had Giroud had his shooting boots on. It’s the international break now so let’s hope we can get some players back before we take on West Brom in two weeks time.
