Chelsea will look to secure qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League when they take on FC Porto at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Ahead of the game, Jose Mourinho has been speaking to reporters at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and he’s given a team news and injury update.

The Portuguese coach was pleased to confirm a double injury boost after declaring that John Terry and Ramires are set to return to the squad tomorrow.

Terry has missed the last two games with an ankle injury that he sustained during Chelsea’s 4-0 win at Maccabi Tel Aviv two weeks ago but the skipper has been back in full training and is now in contention to make his return against Porto.

Ramires missed the victory in Israel after suffering a muscle injury while the Blues squad trained on the pitch prior to the Tel Aviv game but the Brazilian is also back in training and ready to return tomorrow night.

However, it wasn’t all positive news from Mourinho’s press conference as he also revealed that striker Radamel Falcao is still ruled out with a thigh problem.

The Colombian international has been nursing the injury in recent weeks and stepped up his comeback by returning to training today, but Mourinho says he’s still ‘a couple of weeks away’ from being available for selection.

Chelsea head in to tomorrow night’s game sitting second in Group G but with Dynamo Kyiv just two points adrift in third, the West Londoners need a positive result over leaders Porto to secure safe passage to the last 16 while a win would seal top spot.
