[Teams] Chelsea vs FC Porto: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on December 9, 2015

Chelsea will look to secure qualification to the last 16 of the Champions League when they face FC Porto at Stamford Bridge tonight.

The pressure is mounting on Jose Mourinho’s shoulders following a disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to AFC Bournemouth at the weekend so the Portuguese coach desperately needs a positive result tonight to secure qualification to the knockout stages.

The Blues have been boosted by the return to fitness of John Terry after the skipper recovered from an ankle injury that’s kept him out for the last two games and he returns to the back four in place of Gary Cahill.

Cesc Fabregas is surprisingly dropped to the bench with the fit again Ramires preferred alongside Nemanja Matic in the center of midfield while Diego Costa is recalled up front.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Courtois, Ivanovic, Zouma, Terry, Azpilicueta, Ramires, Matic, Willian, Oscar, Hazard, Diego Costa.

Subs: Begovic, Cahill, Mikel, Kenedy, Fabregas, Pedro, Remy.

FC Porto

Casillas; Maxi Pereira, Maicon, Marcano, Martins Indi; Danilo, Imbula, Herrera; Layún, Corona, Brahimi.

Subs: Helton, Rúben Neves, Evandro, Varela, Tello, Aboubakar, Bueno
