Euro 2016 Infographic: A closer look at each team

Football fans throughout the world are gearing up for Saturday’s draw for the 2016 European Championships which is due to be held in France next summer.

With that in mind, we thought you’d be interested in seeing this excellent infographic that looks at each of the qualified teams from each pot and provides a whole host of information on each including key player, FIFA ranking, odds of winning, coefficient points and an interesting fact about the country.

Looking at England, Wayne Rooney has been elected as the key player – which could be a controversial choice given his poor form for Manchester United this season. Roy Hodgson’s men are currently 10/1 with the bookies, which is interestingly the same odds as Belgium – who’re ranked No.1 in the world by FIFA.

Holders Spain are 6/1 to retain the trophy but it’s World Champions Germany who are the clear favourites and it will take a special team to stop them adding the European Championship to their trophy cabinet this coming summer.
