By on December 26, 2015

Liverpool will look to get back to winning ways when they take on Premier League leaders Leicester City at Anfield this afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp is without Martin Skrtel after the defender suffered a hamstring injury last week but Dejan Lovren is fit to return and starts alongside Mamadou Sakho at the back.

Lucas Leiva drops to the bench as Emre Can and Jordan Henderson start in the middle of the park with Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino supporting Divock Origi in attack.

Simon Mignolet returns between the sticks after missing the loss at Watford with a minor hamstring injury.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno, Can, Henderson, Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino, Origi

Subs: Bogdan, Toure, Benteke, Lucas, Allen, Teixeira, Randall

Schmeichel, Simpson, Huth, Morgan, Fuchs, Mahrez, Kanté, King, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy

Subs: Schwarzer, De Laet, Kramarić, Ulloa, Dyer, Wasilewski, Inler.

why play lallana? he is not worth to be in the line up. He had been catastrophic against Watford…Benteke should have been in the starting line up…..For sure, we are heading towards another defeat…Firminio is another player who should have been on the bench.

Let’s hope we do not get thrashed again…it’s so humiliating….
