How Can We Win At Old Trafford?

So its Manchester United next week, and if you ask me right now whether we have a chance, I would go for a 60:40 chance for us. Here’s why.

Well if you ask me, I am in all honestly not confident about our defence. We go against a team which has scored the most and conceded the second least this season in the league. A team which is “invincible,” up to now…In my opinion I don’t think we can defend against United at OT but rather the key to win would be outscoring them. Adopting a style like FCB, I guess the attack policy should hold  here. But again, all out attack will have to be supplemented with logical defending. This includes the counter-attack strategy which United used last time to rip us apart. They say United are one of the best counter-attacking teams in the world, and to win at OT we have to be wary of that.

I hope I am not being negative or something, but lets face facts. United have beaten us twice last season. After the match at the Old Trafford, in which if I may add we scored 2 goals, I realised that the only way to beat United is to get at them. At Villa park, when Villa got at them they got 2, when Liverpool got at them they got 2, and did Wolves deserve a draw at Manchester? The key is sensible defending, and proper Arsenal attacking. That is the only way we shall be able to get 3 points from Manchester.

Now above all of this, the******g media is really pissing me off. God, leave us Gunners alone, why don’t you people go and make a big-fuss about Russia winning the rights to host the World-Cup which is “8 damn years away.” Go, on , make some new stupid story about Rooney, or Terry, but for heavens sake leave us alone!

I knew from the time we went to the top of the league, these ****s would go on about “Here comes the decisive week for Arsenal”, “Arsenal have anther opportunity” and all that crap. What do you think, are we slow, don’t we know all of this? Don’t we know we face United this week and a win would shoot us 4 points clear (all be it, they will have a game in hand). Its ******* pissing off that every damn time we lead the league, people will say here is the ‘golden chance’ and all that bulls*** about these “youngsters” winning a trophy…and if we lose, the pitiful quotes hall show up!

A win for us ensures, yes, I repeat ‘ensures’ us leading the league, even if Man Utd win their game-in-hand, and that this win shall be the most important win for us this season. I seriously cannot remember the last time we beat a top 4 team, and Man City and Liverpool don’t count yet! It shall seriously be the turning point of the season…because to beat United at Old Trafford is no joke!

Best O’ Luck mates, and this one is 5 days in advance……I’ll be out with the “The Preview” soon.

I’d say the gooners have a chance as well – no chance!! arsenal are a bunch of pansy boys and you need a bit of steel in the team which you havent had for years, as a united fan im not even worried about this fixture its a home banker already thinking about the game at the bridge against the rent boys the week after. rooney is gonna eat your defense for breakfast.

Yes we do have a chance. As long as we can put the memories of our past defeat behind us and play without fear/panic, we’ll be fine.Man Utd will attack us from the start and not allow us rest on the ball and will through Nani and Evra, send ‘thousands’ of crosses into our box to cause our defenders to panic. This is why Djourou, no matter what, must play. He will win us a lot of aerial balls. And for ONCE, Song MUST stay back rather than dart forward.
We must also play to our strength; press them high up the pitch, Nasri and Arshavin must be direct and tract back to help out in defence. Their defence is also shaky as Ferdinand /Smalling are not as reliable.

Stop with the so called inferiority complex already and go with a winning mentality to Old Trafford, the notion of world beaters and defensive kings etc. is just part of the English media hype as we saw last night with donkey Carrick caught in a no where to go mindset and giving the ball away and Valencia scoring ,putting heaps of pressure on the home team will get the desired results, not handwringing and other bs,up the Gunners .

The last time we beat Utd..Nasri scored goals..n now he is in the form of his life..The match will be difficult, but with Rio out..i believe we can force errors out of Evans/Smalling and Rafael !!!We need Song and Nasri to have a wonderful game..that will ensure we win…come on gunners..teach these people..there has been and will only be one invincible team in history..!!!

Arsenal is winning the match. All those pessimistic supporters will cover their eyes home. If we can tighten our defence, we are scoring twice. The score line is either 2-2 or 0-2

Of course we have a chance, and a very good one. Fabregas, van Persie, Arshavin, NASRI…who do you united have in that class? Rooney at his best (which he hasn’t been anywhere near for 7 months) and Berbatov at his best (which he is about one game in five). Other than that… Fletcher? Park? Be serious. Chuck in Wilshere, Theo, Chamakh etc and it’s obvious we have far more talent in our team than they do, we just need to be confident enought to play to our strengths and we need NEED to concentrate and work hard defensively. That is how we can lose this game; stupidity at the back.

United are there for the taking, and there’s no reason why we shouldn’t do it. We’ll concede because we couldn’t keep a clean sheet against a scholboy team but it’ll be 3-1 to The Arsenal.

Lol! People are panicking as if we are going to camp nou to play barca!! We have a great away record this season and am sure we will dominate possesion and create chances but the question is, will we take our chances? If we do, we will win the game. If we dont, we will be punished.

WE have a good chance. Utd have been worse this year than they have been in a while. If we can get our passing game going and if we’re clinical around both boxes we’ll be fine. The only players im worried about are nani and rooney, the rest aren’t great. If we play with belief we’ll win 2-1 or 3-1. In fact tonight is a far more significant game for our season, we need knockout CL football.

Arse-Nal have no chance. stupid in defence and once the midfield has been cut-off the arse has no clue and 2nd game plan. if united get the first goal it will be 4-0 if not then 3-1

talk all the crap you want about united, spirals are always predicted about us but we remain strong and are yet to be beaten this season in the premier league. To strong at home for arsenal, this game will prove our dominance in the league and with our game in hand show we have the the confidence and ability to win this season. This whiny article about your sick of the media putting pressure on arsenal, grow some balls. All the big teams cop that sort of pressure man united are constantly talked about as being on the downward spiral and this being the worst side in a long time blah blah blah. Fact is we should be on top but because of the weather we are one point behind. United to win 3-1

Why are we so pessimistic about all the games we come across?
Yes, it is a season defining game, and yes, it would also give us a healthy 4 point lead at the top, so why not go out there looking to win, rather than contemplating why we can’t? Have we already resigned to a losing fate?
And, for me, OT is gonna be Arsenal’s hunting ground come Monday. We are winning this, there are no 2 ways about it.

is this the great manure team that was beaten 4-0 by the team at the bottom of the league?
You shouldn’t get so cocky mate-your time is nigh.
We can consider ourselves somewhat unlucky that we’re not further ahead of you than we are at the moment.
You lot,on the other hand, are last minute claw back specialists, who are really fortunate to be in 2nd place.
900 million in debt with the tide about to turn on your ‘dominance’ in English football-a lot of your star performers well past their sell by date.
    You’ll do nothing this season.
I love to hear you all scream about the proper Manchester team having ‘all that money, they couldn’t do it without all that money’.Well you’ve been doing it for years, long before Chelski came along you were buying everyone and anyone ‘because you could’.You’re up shit creek without a paddle now mate, your manager looks like an old man at some matches-way out of his comfort zone.
I genuinely believe that the Manyoo bubble is about to burst-you haven’t played a strong team yet in the Premiership, now you have a few on the spin-that’ll test you.
We know we have a dodgy defence, but we have the best midfield/attack in the league and I reckon on Monday night your mini unbeaten run will come to an end.

Of course we have a chance. We’re on the up whereas United are on the decline. This is the worst United team I can remember for a long time.

Rooney is out of sorts, Berbatov is no threat whatsoever, given he’s got no pace and doesn’t fit in with United’s style of play. Valencia is injured, Scholes is injured. Apart from Nani, who have they got?

The only reason why we couldn’t win this is doom mongering from fake Arsenal fans. Get behind the team for god’s sake

I went to a match that Rooney was supposed to be playing in once. I was sat behind the goal. I don’t remember seeing him though so maybe he got injured in the warm-up. The match ? Oh it was just England vs Germany in the 2010 World Cup finals. Rooney has no loyalty to club or country, he’d be sent packing if he came begging for a job at the Emirates LMAO !

You lot,on the other hand, are last minute claw back specialists, who are really fortunate to be in 2nd place.
Arsenal are only top because man utd game against blackpool was called off. Even a draw would have been enough to go back top so Arsenal who were third before going top are lucky.

Also how are we last minute claw back specialists. We have thrown away so many games late on i.e. against fulham missed penalty and concede late on to draw and everton we were 2 minutes away to winning but conceded 2 goals to draw. Against west brom we dominated 99% of the game but gifted 2 goals to draw.

Our last home game in the league was a 7-1 win against blackburn. We could easily have scored 5-10 goals against valencia but nothing was going in i.e 4 one on ones, 4 point blank chances and a few rebound shots.

Only way I see arsenal getting anything is if we waste so many chances again. I won’t be suprised if arsenal just keep possession of the ball like last year and do nothing with it and arsenal fans think they are dominating the game while man utd play to win and score not just the ball sidewards and backwards.

Its simple if these games had a decent ref Arsenal would always beat Man Utd. What ref allows Flecther to run around breaking the world record for most fouls in a game without picking up ONE booking, yet Song fouls once and gets punished. Everyone knows Man Utd are rubbish now with 900mil in debt you’d be lucky to buy Alumina from us now LMAO.
