Adam Lallana scored a last gasp winner to secure a sensational 5-4 victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road this afternoon in what will surely go down as one of the games of the decade.

Liverpool got off to the perfect start when Roberto Firmino opened the scoring in the 18th minute before Norwich raced into a 3-1 lead thanks to goals from Dieumerci Mbokani, Steven Naismith and a Wes Hoolahan penalty.

The visitors pulled one back through Jordan Henderson to make it 3-2 in the 55th minute before Firmino levelled things up at 3-3 with a cheeky dinked finish in the 63rd minute.

Liverpool then capatalised on a poor backpass with James Milner racing clear to slot past Rudd for 3-4 in the 74th minute but Norwich looked like they had rescued a stunning point when Sebastian Bassong fired home from the edge of the box 2 minutes into injury time.

However, there was still time for Liverpool to win it as Lallana pounced on a headed clearance to fire home a sensational winner in the fifth minute of stoppage time to claim a famous 5-4 victory for the Reds.
