Some of the Chelsea players have been celebrating on social media after the Blues beat Arsenal 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The key moment of the game came in just the 18th minute when Gunners defender Per Mertesacker was sent off for bringing down Diego Costa as he was sent clean through on goal – although replays raised the question as to whether the German made any clear contact with the striker.

It didn’t take long for Chelsea to take full advantage of playing against 10-men as Costa was on hand to sweep home at the near post for 0-1 following a Branislav Ivanovic cross in the 23rd minute.

Arsenal pushed for the equaliser but couldn’t find a way past a resolute Chelsea back-line so the Blues left North London with a huge three points that sees them climb to 13th in the Premier League table.

After the game, some of the Chelsea players have taken to social media sites to celebrate the victory with skipper John Terry and attacker Willian both posting photos and messages to their official Instagram accounts.

Cesar Azpilicueta, Thibaut Courtois, Oscar and Kurt Zouma have also taken to Twitter to react to the win with the Chelsea players all hailing an important London derby success over the Gunners.

Check out what the players have been saying below:

Well done boys!!! #CFC
