Arsenal moved level on points with Tottenham Hotspur after beating AFC Bournemouth 2-0 at Dean Court on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners got off to a great start and ended a three-game streak without scoring when Mesut Ozil fired home from close range after getting on the end of an Olivier Giroud header in the 23rd minute.

It was 2-0 less than 60 seconds later as Aaron Ramsey found Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and the attacker fired in to the bottom corner for his first goal in over 18 months, and his first ever away goal for Arsenal in the Premier League.

We took our foot off the gas in the second half and had to rely on some excellent goalkeeping from Petr Cech to keep the scoreline at 2-0 as Bournemouth pushed to get themselves back in the game.

However, we secured the win that sees us move level on points with second-placed Tottenham and we now sit five points off leaders Leicester ahead of our crucial clash at the Emirates next weekend.

Also nice of the ref to not give Flamini the red card he deserved, or indeed to not at least yellow Giroud – although that, too, could have been a red asitp looked deliberate and was quite nasty!
