[Video Goals] Man Utd 5-1 Midtjylland [6-3 agg]: Rashford Bags Brace On Dream Debut

Manchester United booked their place in the last-16 of the Europa League after beating FC Midtjylland 5-1 at Old Trafford on Thursday night.

The Red Devils went in to the game trailing 2-1 from last weeks first leg and it looked like a shock was on the cards when the visitors took the lead midway through the first half.

United levelled thing up on the night thanks to a 32nd minute own goal before Juan Mata missed the perfect chance to level the tie after seeing his penalty saved just before half time.

However, it didn’t matter as Marcus Rashford did put United 2-1 ahead on the night before making it 3-1 [4-3 on aggregate] in the 74th minute with another cool close range finish.

Ander Herrera made no mistake from the spot in the 87th minute before Memphis Depay added some gloss to the scoreline with a late fifth to secure a 5-1 victory which sees United cruise in to the last-16 6-3 on aggregate.
