[Video Goals] Tottenham 3-0 Fiorentina [4-1 agg]: Spurs Book Last 16 Place

Tottenham Hotspur booked their place in the last-16 of the Europa League after beating Fiorentina 3-0 at White Hart Lane on Thursday night.

Spurs went into the game as favourites following last weeks 1-1 first leg draw in Italy and took control of the tie when Ryan Mason broke to cooly slot home the opener in the 25th minute.

Nacer Chadli saw a goal ruled out for offside shortly after half-time but Tottenham didn’t have to wait long to double their advantage as Erik Lamela did well to turn the ball home after Dele Alli had seen a shot blocked.

Fiorentina pushed to get back in to the game but Spurs sealed a 3-0 victory when Gonzalo turned Kieran Trippier’s cross in to his own net in the 81st minute.

The win at White Hart Lane means Tottenham ease in to the last 16 of the competition thanks to a 4-1 aggregate victory over Fiorentina so they’ll be keen to see who’ll they will get in tomorrow’s draw.
