The Manchester United players have been celebrating on Twitter after securing a thrilling 3-2 victory over Arsenal at Old Trafford this afternoon.

The Red Devils put their injury problems behind them as they raced in to a two-goal lead against the Gunners with Marcus Rashford capping off a dream four days with a quick-fire brace before Arsenal pulled one back just before half-time through former United striker Danny Welbeck.

Ander Herrera’s deflected shot made it 3-1 to the hosts before Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil ensured it was a nervy final 20 minutes after making it 3-2 in the 69th minute.

However, United held on to secure the three points which makes it three wins in a week and sees them climb back up to fifth in the Premier League table and to within three points of fourth-placed Manchester City.

Several of the players have now taken to Twitter this evening to react to the game with the likes of David De Gea, Juan Mata, Marcos Rojo, Morgan Schneiderlin, Phil Jones, Ander Herrera, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Daley Blind and Wayne Rooney all celebrating the win while many also took the time to reserve special praise for young striker Rashford following another superb display.
