Paul Merson Offers His Predicted Score Ahead Of Arsenal’s Clash With Watford

Arsenal legend Paul Merson has made his prediction ahead of our Premier League with Watford this weekend.
Arsenal entertain Watford at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon desperate to secure a win in order to keep alive our fading hopes of clinching the Premier League title this season.
A 2-0 win at Everton before the international break has kept us in touch with the top two but anything other than all three points tomorrow will all-but end our chances of catching Leicester City.
I personally haven’t given up the title just yet but Merson appears to think it’s already over as he claims there is no pressure on Arsenal this weekend and it’s for that reason he thinks we’ll ease to a 3-0 victory.
Watford knocked us out of the FA Cup with a 2-1 quarter final win last month but Merse doesn’t see the visitors getting anything at the Emirates tomorrow as they’ve got little left to play for in the league.
Writing in his column for Sky Sports, Merson said:
There’s no pressure on Arsenal so they will win this game. They are the best team in the country when there is no pressure on them.
They lost the big one in the quarter-final of the cup but Watford don’t have much to play for and I can’t see them winning at the Emirates again.
PAUL PREDICTS: 3-0
We’ll have to wait and see whether Merson’s prediction proves accurate but a win for Arsenal would see us close the gap to three points of Spurs and eight of Leicester City ahead of their games against Liverpool and Southampton.
With our rivals both having tricky matches this weekend, it’s imperative we put the pressure on by beating Watford on Saturday and like Merson, I think we’ll do just that.
