Manchester United will be looking to close in on the top four when they take on Aston Villa at Old Trafford this afternoon.

Louis van Gaal has decided to recall Wayne Rooney to the starting eleven after he came through a run-out the under-21’s last week unscathed having recovered from a knee injury.

Anthony Martial is the man to make way while Memphis Depay and Juan Mata are also recalled with Jesse Lingard dropping to the bench while Ander Herrera misses out through injury.

Antonio Valencia comes in to the back four with Timothy Fosu-Mensah dropping to the substitutes bench.
