[Tweets & Photos] Rooney & Mata Among Utd Players Celebrating Villa Win On Twitter

Some of the Manchester United players have been celebrating on Twitter after their 1-0 win over relegated Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.

United scored what turned out to be the only goal of the game shortly after the half hour mark as Wayne Rooney sprayed a superb long range pass to find Antonio Valencia and the full-backs cross was turned home smartly by Rashford for 1-0.

United has chances to score a second but couldn’t find the goal that would kill the game off and almost paid the price as Rudy Gestede smacked the post following a late corner.

However, United held on to secure a win that sees them close the gap on fourth-placed Arsenal to just three points and keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

After the game, some of the United players have taken to Twitter to upload photos and messages to their followers with Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata, Antonio Valencia and Bastian Schweinsteiger all celebrating the win.
