Arsenal will be looking to reclaim third spot in the Premier League table when we take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light this afternoon.

Arsene Wenger has named an unchanged line-up from the side that beat West Bromwich Albion 2-0 on Thursday night meaning Per Mertesacker keeps his place alongside Laurent Koscielny at the back.

Aaron Ramsey once again starts in midfield with Mohamed Elneny while Olivier Giroud is surprisingly chosen ahead of Danny Welbeck up front. Jack Wilshere is in the squad for the first time this season after recovering from a fractured leg.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Mannone, Yedlin, van Aanholt, Kaboul, Kone, Kirchhoff, M’Vila, Cattermole, Borini, Khazri, Defoe.

Arsenal

Cech, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Ramsey, Elneny, Sanchez, Ozil, Iwobi, Giroud
