Arsenal will be hoping to steal third spot in the Premier League when they take on Aston Villa at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon. Here is the side Gooner Mac thinks Arsene Wenger will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech was partially at fault for at least on the goals during last weeks draw at Man City but I think we’ll still see him retain his place on Sunday.

Defence: Per Mertesacker has once again been ruled out with a hamstring injury so Gabriel should continue alongside Laurent Koscielny at the back while Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal will retain their positions in the full-back slots.

Midfield: I think we could see Wenger make a couple of changes in midfield with Mohamed Elneny rested and Francis Coquelin recalled in the middle of the park. Jack Wilshere is also pushing to make his first start of the season after coming through 70 minutes against City last week having replaced Danny Welbeck in the first half.

Santi Cazorla is also pushing for game-time but I think we’ll see him named on the bench while Tomas Rosicky could also be put on the subs bench as he looks to make his final appearance before leaving the club next month.

Attack: With Wilshere back in midfield, we could see Ramsey moved out to the wing with Alex Iwobi given a breather. The youngster has played a lot of football recently and his form has dipped in recent games.

Mesut Ozil should return to the side after missing the City game with a minor hip injury while Alexis Sanchez will continue in attack. Danny Welbeck is obviously out after being ruled out for nine months with a serious knee injury so Olivier Giroud will be looking to build on his goal against City last weekend.

Here is how I think we’ll see Arsenal line-up:

What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?

I think that theo Walcott will replaced iwobi and Carzola for El Nely in midfield otherwise the same squad but give rosicky, and Flamini a good send off by bringing them on in second half
