[Video Goals] Mainz 4-0 Liverpool: Reds Thrashed In Germany

A much-changed Liverpool side were thrashed 4-0 by Mainz just 24 hours after beating Spanish giants Barcelona by the same score-line.

Jurgen Klopp made plenty of changes from the side that beat Barca at Wembley and a disjointed side fell behind in Germany inside the opening 15 minutes as Bronsinski scored from the penalty spot after Andre Wisdom had handled in the area.

It was 2-0 on the stroke of half-time as Cordoba beat Alex Manninger from a tight angle before Malli burst through the Liverpool back line to fire home the third in the 59th minute.

Muto completed the rout in the 74th minute as headed home unchallenged at the near post to consign Liverpool to a disappointing 4-0 defeat.
