United opened the scoring midway through the first half when Jesse Lingard followed up his FA Cup winner at Wembley with another stunner to make it 1-0 in the 32nd minute.
Leicester were always a threat and levelled things up shortly after half-time as Jamie Vardy pounced on a poor back pass from Marouane Fellaini to round David De Gea and slot home for 1-1.
However, Ibrahimovic – who had had a quiet afternoon until this point – stepped up to head home the winner with less than five minutes remaining to secure the trophy for United.
