[Teams] Chelsea vs Burnley: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on August 27, 2016

Chelsea will look to extend their 100% record when the west Londoners take on Burnley at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

Antonio Conte has made several changes from the side that beat Bristol Rovers in the League Cup on Tuesday night with Thibaut Courtois coming back in between the sticks.

John Terry gets a recall in defence with youngster Ola Aina dropping to the bench while N’Golo Kante comes back in to the midfield alongside Nemanja Matic and Oscar with Cesc Fabregas missing out.

Eden Hazard is recalled along with the fit-again Willian – who’s recovered from a calf injury – with Pedro and Victor Moses dropping to the bench.

Diego Costa leads the line up front with Michy Batshuayi missing out, despite scoring a brace in midweek.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Kante; Willian, Oscar, Matic, Hazard; Diego Costa.

Subs: Begovic, Aina, Fabregas, Loftus-Cheek, Moses, Pedro, Batshuayi.

Heaton, Ward, Mee, Keane, Lowton, Arfield, Marney, Defour, Boyd, Vokes, Gray.

Subs: O’Neill, Darikwa, Tarkowski, Gudmundsson, Robinson, Kightly, Jutkiewicz.

Chelsea are the heavy 1/4 favourites to win the game but if you want better odds, then my recommended bet would be the Blues to win 3-0 at odds of 25/4. 138.com are offering a 100% free bet up to £25 so if you took full advantage of that offer, then you would stand to win £181.25 if Chelsea beat Burnley 3-0 on Saturday!
