Marcus Rashford came off the bench to score a last gasp winner as Manchester United beat Hull City 1-0 at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday night.

United dominated the game from the outset but struggled to break down a stubborn Hull defence as the two sides went in to the break level at 0-0.

The visitors continued to push after half-time but it wasn’t until Rashford was introduced in the 70th minute that United really started to threaten the hosts goal.

And the 18-year-old turned out to be the match-winner as he ghosted in to tap home from close range in the 93rd minute following some excellent work from Wayne Rooney down the left.

The win was Jose Mourinho’s third in succession and maintains United’s 100% start to the new season, with the Red Devils moving back to the top of the Premier League, level on points with Chelsea.
