Tottenham Hotspur take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Here is the side we think Mauricio Pochettino will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris has recovered from a hamstring injury that’s kept him out since he was forced off against Everton on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season. The Frenchman is expected to be recalled in goal with Michel Vorm dropping back to the bench.

Defence: Pochettino has confirmed that Danny Rose has been ruled out after suffering a hamstring injury during England’s World Cup qualifying win over Slovakia so Ben Davies is set to come in to the defence.

Otherwise, I think we’ll see a familiar back four with Jan Vertonghen continuing alongside Belgian team mate Toby Alderweireld in the middle of defence and Kyle Walker at right-back.

Midfield: Mousa Dembele serves the final of his six-game suspension which was carried over from last season so Victor Wanyama is expected to keep his place alongside Eric Dier in midfield.

Moussa Sissoko is pushing to make his debut following his deadline day move but I think the Frenchman will be eased in to action from the bench.

Attack: Dele Alli was recalled to the starting eleven against Liverpool before the international break and I expect the England youngster to keep his place in attack along with Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela.

Vincent Janssen will be pushing for a recall after dropping to the bench last time out but I think we’ll see Harry Kane continue to lead the line up front.

Here is how I think we’ll see Spurs line-up:
