[Teams] Arsenal vs Southampton: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on September 10, 2016

Arsenal will be looking to build on our win over Watford when we take on Southampton at the Emirates this afternoon.

The Gunners took only one point from two fixtures versus the Saints last season, thrashed 4-0 at St Mary’s on Boxing Day before being held 0-0 in this fixture later in the season.

Southampton have taken only two points in their first three games under Claude Puel as a change in formation from Ronald Koeman last season has yet to pay dividends.

Both late summer signings Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Pérez start for Arsenal today.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Petr Čech; Héctor Bellerín, Shkodran Mustafi, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal; Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin; Theo Walcott, Mesut Özil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain; Lucas Pérez

Subs: David Ospina, Rob Holding, Mohamed Elneny, Granit Xhaka, Alex Iwobi, Alexis Sánchezz, Olivier Giroud

Fraser Forster; Cédric Soares, José Fonte, Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Bertrand; Jordy Clasie, Oriol Romeu, Steven Davis; Dušan Tadić; Jay Rodriguez, Nathan Redmond

Subs: Alex McCarthy, Maya Yoshida, Matthew Targett, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, James Ward-Prowse, Shane Long, Charlie Austin

What’s your predicted score for the game now we’ve seen the teams?
