[Teams] Liverpool vs Leicester: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on September 10, 2016

Premier League football returns as Liverpool entertain Leicester City at Anfield tonight for what will be the Merseysiders first home game of the new season.

This evening’s game will see a Premier League record crowd for Anfield following the main stand’s expansion over the summer.  The delay in the completion meant that Liverpool’s second game of the season versus Burnley was switched to Turf Moor having originally been scheduled for Anfield.

Leicester City lost only three fixtures last season – this was one of them.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Simon Mignolet; Nathaniel Clyne, Joël Matip, Lucas, James Milner; Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum, Adam Lallana; Sadio Mané, Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino

Subs: Loris Karius, Ragnar Klavan, Alberto Moreno, Kevin Stewart, Marko Grujić, Philippe Coutinho, Divock Origi

Kasper Schmeichel; Danny Simpson, Robert Huth, Wes Morgan, Christian Fuchs; Riyad Mahrez, Daniel Amartey, Danny Drinkwater, Marc Albrighton; Shinji Okazki, Jamie Vardy

Subs: Ron-Robert Zieler, Luis Hernández, Ben Chilwell, Andy King, Ahmed Musa, Demarai Gray, Leonardo Ulloa

What’s your predicted score for the game now we’ve seen the teams?
