Tottenham Hotspur return to the Champions League tonight when they entertain Monaco at Wembley in their Group E opener.

Mauricio Pochettino has made just one change from the side that beat Stoke City 4-0 on Saturday and it’s an attacking one with Erik Lamela coming in for Victor Wanyama.

Dele Alli is expected to drop back in to midfield besides Eric Dier with Lamela joining the attack alongside Christian Eriksen and Hueng-min Son – who keeps his place after scoring twice at the weekend.

Ben Davies keeps his place at left-back as Danny Rose is still nursing a hamstring injury while Kyle Walker, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen make up the rest of the back four.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Tottenham

Lloris; Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies; Dier, Alli; Lamela, Eriksen, Son; Kane.

Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Carter-Vickers, Wanyama, Dembele, Sissoko, Janssen.
