Some of the Liverpool players have been celebrating on social media after the Merseysiders secured an impressive 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Friday night.

The visitors started brightly and opened the scoring in the 17th minute thanks to a lovely volley from Dejan Lovren before a stunner from Jordan Henderson doubled Liverpool’s advantage in the 36th minute.

Chelsea did manage to pull one back just before half-time through a close-range strike from Diego Costa but despite some late pressure from the west Londoners, the Reds hung on to secure a 2-1 win.

The victory means Liverpool have now taken 7 points from their trips to Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea this season and sees them move level with the Blues in the table on 10 points.

Several of the players have now taken to social media to celebrate the victory with Roberto Firmino, Nathaniel Clyne, Lucas Leiva and Divock Origi all posting messages on Twitter while Philippe Coutinho, Henderson, Simon Mignolet, Adam Lallana, Emre Can and Alberto Moreno all uploaded photo messages to Instagram.

Check out what the Liverpool players have been up to here:

Antonio conte need a lot of Orientations, why living Fabregas on bench? He is a good creative midfielder which He needed in that liverpool clash, why oscar&matic?they were not both Dazeling on pitch except Ngolo kante and the coach was there looking, perhaps made a late sub, which was very bad.
