[Video Goals] Man Utd 1-1 Stoke: Martial Goal Not Enough As United Held

Manchester United were left to rue missed chances after Joe Allen scored late on to salvage a surprise 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic missed a great chance to open the scoring after seeing his effort well saved by Grant after being set-up following some fine play from Paul Pogba.

United continued to press and eventually broke the deadlock midway through the second half when Anthony Martial curled home a superb effort in the 69th minute.

However, United let slip two valuable points when former Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen pounced on  a loose ball in the penalty box to fire home the equaliser in the 82nd minute.

United couldn’t find a late winner so the Red Devils had to make do with a 1-1 draw which sees them remain sixth in the Premier League table.
